Your new go to AYCES! My favorite place in Reno. We will always venture out and try another place with friends but we always come back! AND we will bring our friends here and convert them to the Jj’s cult. It’s ALWAYS fresh food thick pieces of fish and the best muscles!! Don’t waste your time anywhere else.
I go here often, I really love the place and the food is very well made. The food also tastes great! The service is awesome with an excellent atmosphere. The all you can eat is very nice with lots of choices
Nothing negative to say, honestly is just a very good sushi resturant. The entire team is very personable and energetic. As for the atmosphere, I personally find it very comfortable I think the owners really bring out a warm welcoming place.
We love JJs special for take out! 3 rolls, 2 nigiri and 1 app for around $30! It's perfect for an at home date night when you want sushi but don't want to leave the house. They are very accommodating with gluten free options.
This is the best sushi in town! My girlfriend and I absolutely love it here. The owners Jessi and Joe are so welcoming and friendly every time we come in. Today was our first time sitting at the bar and it was an even more fun and enjoyable experience! Amazing nigiri always fresh, super good appetizers such as the yakiton, and the hunger games. This is the only place I will go for sushi!
First picture starting at the top: salmon, octopus, Goofy, 6 Donald Ducks, and yellowtail. Next plate is JJ's #2 and the snow mountain. Bottom were the appetizers calamari rings, yakiton, goyza, and edemame. The waitresses are attentive and personable being quick and very nice while the food is absolutely delicious and will keep you thinking about the next time your going and what to try next.
Every experience I've had at this restaurant has been amazing. I took it two year hiatus moved out of state and came back. Jessie remembered me and not only that remembered my favorite roll. They put dedication and hard work into their menu, and it's just a wonderful experience. I recommend the Knight Roll, and the Pink Lady.
This is literally my go to sushi spot. Me and my husband come every chance we get. It is hands down the best sushi place in Reno in my opinion! You seriously cannot beat the freshness of the rolls, and you can truly taste the difference when comparing it to other places.
JJ's sushi was quite good! I enjoyed almost everything we got from the all you can eat menu. Service was prompt and I'd say it had a normal strip-mall sushi ambiance
